Hello,
Jad a clear out last week and stumbled across some carbs. At present I have a 1300 xflow, with a single downdraught weber.
Ultimately I plan to build a 1700 xflow, in the mean time, is it worth putting either single or twin weber's on my 1300?
TIA

Hi David,
Sorry, No personal experience, but have a look through this.
Also I suggest you should have a chat with Rod Taylor at Southam Motorsport (Southam Mini and Metro Centre). He might know. He builds race engines
for a living and built for at least one of the 750MC locosts this season.
He's also recently had a rolling road installed, 18months ago. His son Colin is training up on it. He told me they're charging £50 a
tuning session in the meantime to get some interest going, plus the price of any parts.
Not sure what their charging policy is on replacement jets though, and I've got no idea how good they are with it either.
Worth a try maybe.
regards
Dave
Hi Dave,
Thanks for the link, it looks like I'd be very tempted to go with the twin webers, im not too fussed if its a bit thirsty - its not like its all
that practical anyway, and my drivings not exactly fuel efficiant at the best of times.
If they do MOT's or somewhere very close by does, I may book a session in the not too distant future, since I want to give the car a bit of a
run, and get it tuned pre-sva.
Cheers
D
I don't know if Rod does MOT's and if not then I dunno where to go in Southam - look in yellow pages?
I just had mine MOT'd at Lighthorne Filling Station (they don't sell petrol!). It isn't too far away, but it's the other side of
Southam from you, near Gaydon.
