Rolling Road in Aldershot

Went to see these people on Friday ..

My mate has a MK1 Avo Escort with a 2ltr VX (slightly tweaked) on Jenvey's running off a DTA ecu (very nice car, should make a little over 200bhp) .. Previous rolling road had made a proper mess of the map.

Website implies blinged up chip upgraders but I was pleasantly surprised when chatting .. They seem to know what they're talking about and can deal with carbs too. Dealt with quite a few Tiger ERA's of late. Don't know about pricing but worth a visit / chat if you're looking for an RR in and around Aldershot / Farnham.

Website shows they know MoTeC, Apex-i Power FC, DTA, Greddy E-manage, HKS F-CON V, Weber Alpha, Alpha Plus, GEMS, Emerald, MBE and Marelli. They certainly knew the Emerald software when asked. and see a lot of DTA and Webcon.

thanks for posting this up, I'm building a vx with a dta (240bhpish) and was wondeing where I could go to get it mapped and I'm only just down the road from aldershot. very useful info, cheers.

Thanks for that, Im also local and will be after a place to give the R1 upgrade a power run. There's also Surrey Rolling Road in Camberley, no experience of them but it looks a good quite a good setup from the Website.

Excellent, just spoken to them and they sound like they know what they are on about. They sell Dynojet kits for bikes and have tuned several bike engined kits cars before so thats going to be very handy only 10 miles away

Not at present .. Will report when my mates car is finished (starting right from scratch). I'll be taking my Striker there when it's ready if the results look good .. Watch this space !! ..

So I might be the guineapig, then.

Depending on how the car runs when I start it (soon, I hope - it's way overdue and I want to take it to Stoneleigh next week) then I may need somewhere to set it up.

Jasper, Deckman, Conrod, and myself were at Surrey Rolling Road when Hicost ran his there. It's just off the A331 at Camberley.

We only saw the new place where they do just the shoot-outs but I'm pretty sure there's a proper tuning place somewhere else on the estate.
Turns out I know one of the guys that runs it- not sure what the others thought of him but to me atleast he seems to know his stuff!
