Fuel pressure
carlgeldard - 5/5/05 at 06:49 AM

I have a fuel problem and here is my threory. Could it be possible to run a cooling system pipe from the header tank to close to the filter king. This would then vaperize's the fuel in the filter king which increases the pressure, cutting off the supply to the carbs. And that is why the engine cuts out after about one or two miles when warm.

Carl

PS Have you any other Ideas

Carl,

Have you tried just turning the pressure up a bit? You might be using all the fuel in the carbs up?

Just a thought.

I am going to do that tonight. I am on 3.5psi at the moment but the gauge is not force to be right and I will get a second hand filter king if needed from that good supplier in Dewsbury. After I have move that cooling pipe.

I'd have thought fuel would have to be very hot to vapourise
Wouldn't expect a water pipe to do it. But could be wrong.
