Currently working on my engine - 2l zetec. Have the choice of changing the heavy flywheel to either the lighter 1.8 or a lightened one from dunnell/burton. Obviously the burton one is more expensive but only weighs about 4kg instead of about 8kg for the 1.8 flywheel.

Question, is the burton one worth the extra money? Has anyone experience of driving with a standard flywheel then changing to a lightened one? does it make much difference?
