which rwd toyota use a 4age engine?

My MR2 is a 3s-ge (3s-gte is a turbo version) so be careful which MR2 you go for.
PS why do people prefer the 1600 engine to the later 2l?

if you want a toyota 4age you will find it in the rwd form you want only in the corolla GT of the mid 80's.

you can also find it in the front drive corolla GTis but then you need a t50 gearbox from fensport.

ive got a mk1 mr2 on my drive which is gona be my 4age donor. these are rwd but have the engine in the rear as well so im gonna need a t50 box.


john for you question as to why ppl prefer the mk1 to the mk2 engine is that its a lot lighter and smaller, doesnt need shoehorning. also you can find mk1's cheap enough to be a good donor. also the insurance is a lot better than on a 2 litre. only has 25 more bhp i believe... if the stats are right

Good reasons, however the power difference is not quite right. For example some 4age's kick out 122bhp, with some 3sge making 173bhp. (without turbo)
