Hi,

I'm looking to get my carbs setup. I'm not sure how to do it myself and would like it done on the rolling road. I was trying to adjust the idle mixture screw as per the write up looking for a change in rpm, but it made no difference on one set of carbs, whether it was right in or far out. I have the weber alpha kit on my zetec supplied new from Tiger.

Does anyone know of a decent rolling road in the area, for setting up carbs. I realise that there probably wont be an alpha mapper in the area but thought at least I should get the carbs sorted.

Robinson Tuning - Cambuslang. Mel Robinson had Weber Alpha on the Sylva Zetec I sold him and he has rollers. He 'may' be able to do weber mapping.

Derek Hastings in Carnwath has rollers and he is one of us - raced Imps and Sunbeam Lotus for years.

Both of these guys will do carb setups for you.

AVA at the airport. They have rollers as well. They will be dearer than the other two.

Sorry - Can't remember the name of the garage - I know exactly where it is though.
TBH, I now Mel better so personally I would go there first.
