2.9i V6 into a Robinhood B2 plus

Has any body on here fitted a 2.9i V6 into a Robinhood B2 Plus?

I have spoken to RH who have told me it can be done but I would need to alter the engine mounts, move a couple of chassie tubes and make an exhust manifold.

Now I'm after speaking to someone who has done it to see how they found it.

Would the chassi be strong enough to take the power and wait?

I'm told by RH that it would be, it's all about how difficult it is really. I dont want to start something I can't finish, if you know what I mean. However ever, if your going to do something you might as well do it big!!!!!!!!!!

Somewhere out in the great www there is a site with a hood that has a cossie engine in it so a v6 is chicken feed. RH once had a monster jag engine in one!!!!!!!!!!!!
good luck check out the hoodies register and ask em.
GOODLUCK

Dont know if its possible but from memorry that lump is a weighty beast, are you sure the weight penalty would be worth the extra hosrpower? it may not be any quicker in the end than if you fitted a tuned zetec or the like?

Try RHOCaR

There are a few V6 cars about, I'm sure...

Robin Hood cars has recently been sold and they are having a clearout of all the old demo and show cars. The 12 cylinder jag engined beast still exists and can be yours for £9000 if you have a strong desire to end your life.
