Oil change for Sierra Diff

Any Tips.?

Whats the best way to drain the Diff ..?

How much Oil will I need..

I think your ment to fill ot to 10mm below the drain plug when its level ???

assumng I can get the drain plug out...

10 mm allen key and a piece of pipe , give it a good yank , it should shift. If all else fails mig weld a nut on , heat from welding and being able to apply more torque will shift plug. If diff is not yet fitted to chassis tip diff on end to drain , if already in chassis try to drain using sucktion/syphon but suspect oil may be too thick to syphon.. fill until oil runs out of filler refit plug

my drain plug was fused and ive no welder to free it, so i filled mine via the breather pipe at the top. very slow, but doable.

about a litre should do it, unless you wipe the inside clean as well as draining it, in which case you might need a smidge more.
