Im looking to exchange the standard fireblade airbox and filter for a foam type. Any recommendations and adeas on price would be helpful. Cheers. PS, any meet tommorow night?
remember you will have to alter the jetting too, chances are it will run like a pig if you dont, as for recommendations i prefer k&n filters but they would prob be too big too get under your bonnet.
hi
We have the 2000 RRY blade engine and we use the ITG JC40 air filter that fits under nice and i think pipercross do one aswell i think ours with the
baseplate was somewhere in the region of £80
hope that helps
tom
Well, not a blade engine I must admit,
but I used,
an offcut of shiny stuff,
the back off a cooker, (chip fat removed, then painted blue)
and the foam element from a BX, cut in half, (x 2)
Total cost..... £8 the pair.
Thats Locost
