Currently the ignition leads on my x-flow go straight from the dizzy to the plugs, and flap around against the bonnet, etc.
Can anyone suggest a neat clip that I can screw or stick to my rocker cover to keep them in place? I'm thinking of the sort of clips you find on
Vauxhall Astras - 4 sprung plastic clips in a row. The only problem is that my plug leads aren't standard diameter - I think they're 8mm or
larger.
Cheers,
David

vehicle wiring products do clips and also numbers for HT leads
I had seen these products - Tim's clips and steve's numbered clips will hold the leads together, but they won't fasten them down. What
I'm trying to emulate is the original x-flow system, where the leads are held in a rubber gizmo that's held to the rocker cover by a bit of
bent steel... or, to be exact, I want to hold the leads down but I want to look a bit less naff than the original Ford system!
I think I'm going to have to make something...

What about the plastic clip that's used on the side of a Sierra rocker cover?
It's a plastic strip about 60mm long with plastic 'tines' that stick up and you press the leads between them.
I don't have a picture but it's small and light.
On the back it has a plastic 'dome' that pushes into a steel tab to secure it but you could cut off the dome and glue the strip to your
rocker cover.
Any use?
