Does anybody know whether yer average engine builder's hotwash machine is just a rotary carousel high pressure hot degreaser jet washer, or whether some have "boil-out" caustic tanks?

I have the former at work, but really want to use the latter if somebody has one in the midlands!

I'm looking for a very cheap secondhand dishwasher for cleaning engine parts, dishwasher powder seems pretty effective at degreasing . I know engine reconditioners use something similar
