Everything you need for a Zetec conversion!!

Dear All

I'm going BEC so have the entire Zetec setup from my Locost sprint car for sale. This car has just won the road going kit car class in the Welsh Championship and finished fourth overall, behind a Renault Clio Williams with an engine worth more than my car, a Subaru Impreza and an EVO8! It’s also picked up a couple of class trophies on the way!

I’m selling the whole lot, including engine management system and loom which would allow the buyer to ‘simply’ drop it in and go. The spec is as follows. I’ll be posting this to eBay soon but wanted to give fellow listers the ‘heads up’.

2.0 litre Zetec (Silver top) – 170BHP

Built from reconditioned silver top engine. Fitted with the following extras, which were all brand new last year and have covered only 165 miles!

Dunnell shortened sump.

Lightened CVH flywheel and clutch. Front mounted crank sensor.

Fisher stainless exhaust manifold.

Twin 45 DCOE’s on Burton manifold with ITG Socks. Twin cable undermounted linkage (great if space is tight!). Throttle pot. Fully setup on rolling road.

Daihatsu Charade alternator on custom brackets.

Raceline water rail and thermostat housing with Stant competition cap.

Samco inlet and outlet hoses.

Emerald 3D management system (will also take fuel injection) – fully setup and mapped. I’ll also include trailing leads from the ‘box’ for shift light, fuel pump relay etc to make it easier to install. Custom wiring loom to Emerald system.

Magnecour competition leads. (20 miles only)

Solid engine mounts.

Powder coated cam cover.

Starter motor.

Competition head gasket (Burton). New cam belt, tensioners etc.

The engine will come complete with T9 gearbox with quickshift, wiring loom.

I also have the prop shaft available but this may not fit as the engine sat a long way back in my chassis! I can point you in the direction of a local supplier who charged me £80 last year for a brand new prop.

I also have a complete low mileage 1600 Zetec (from a crashed Escort).

Please u2u me for further information.

Regards

Wyn
