if you want to use a Jag engine, take a look at this
http://www.kougar-cars.com/sport.htm
The Kougar has been made in kit form for many years.
I doubt it handles anywhere as well as a locost but I would love one.
If you think about it, its basically a seven style car but a bit bigger with a more rounded body

All,

I will be using a Lincoln LS V8 (essentially a Jag 4L) in my "locost". This will be mated to a BW T5 (Mustang) tranny. I will be making an adaptor plate for the bellhousing to transmission in Jan to make it all fit together.

I will be happy to post pics as things come together.

I thought that the TRUE BDG engine had an alloy block as well as head.
