Hello gentlemen,

A friend of mine went for his "inspection" , similar to your SVA, a few days agao.

He failed on different items, but one was that the inspector could not find the data for his engine number.

So my question is:

Is there any data base available with the possibility to read engine data out of the engine serial number?
Like engine size, rated power, assembly period and so on.

His engine is a standard 1600 cross flow, but he needs to show this to the inspector.

Any ideas?

e mail bob he has the addy of ford engines they will provide a document to prove the age etc of engine on receipt of engine no.good luck.
