this little motor is neat - liquid cooled heads but air cooled cylinders!

Cyril Kieft says that it never gave more than a useable 38 bhp and its reliability was dubious. Around 50 bhp was considered a good figure for a contemporary race-tuned double-knocker Norton.

about 40 bhp could be produces from a 400cc twin of 20 or so years back - the z400 kawa at least.

Interesting engine tho..
