Thankfully after 3 weekends and about 6 cutting disks I have manged to get the diff to drop off. Sort of looked like a huge snake trying to swallow a
greased pig lying on the floor after lowering it down.
Soddin rounded bolts. Ended up having to cut the bottom of the boot off in the end to get access to the final bits. Then to add insult to injury the
drift I used to drive out the top diff bolt got stuck and I had to cut/grind it away.
Still thats he back end strip 90% complete. Just the drum back plates to go and the handbrake.
Then its just pulling off the uprights & front wheels.
Oh and clearing the credit card and getting the cash saved up for the MK kit

My sympathies, this should be an eay job, but I like yourself struggled like a tw*t to get the diff out, with the assosiated pains as you describe,
and all whilst lying uinder a ton weight that could fall and kill you at any moment!
