Pictured is a 1994 1.8 zetec from an escort,will this set up work when i move alternator,will water pump be running correct way,thanks

Hi the water pump will still turn in the same direction. Most people fit thier altenators on zetecs there or there abouts.

Itl work just fine. Thats where mine is. Being an escort silver top it will have the correct pump in.

Dihatsu charade alt will tuck down there a treat.

Mine is at the other side where the original alt was, didn;t have space down there due to steering column.

I have my alternator where you are proposing to put yours. Had some difficulty with brackets and mounting can provide picture if you want
