my uncle has a factory build westfield with 45's on emerald ecu and cams etc and that are 148 bhp on the rollers
At the crank you should get 160bhp ish a bit more with cams and headwork.
Dunnell quote over a grand to get there 165bhp kit upto 200bhp
With upgraded cams, Piper 285 on a standard head with a good rolling road map and correct injectors etc poss 180bhp. With head work matching
manifolds/open ports/gas flow but standard valves on same cam then 200bhp. Standard engine with well setup TBs and decent map 160-170bhp possible.
Correct ignition and injection setup is key to decent power.
A friend has a 1.8 Zetec in his westy, and has had the head ported by Dunnel (stock valve sizes), piper cams, Jenvey throttle bodies and Emerald ECU. That produced about 180bhp when it was set up by Dave Walker, which is good amount of power in a 7, but poor value in terms of money spent (lots!). He could have had a very nice 20XE for the same money with lots more torque and power.
My 2.0 Zetec on Jenveys, Dunnell cams, head work by ourselves, standard valve sizes, Emerald ecu produces 208 bhp & 172 lb/ft of torque with a
very flat torque curve.
Figures from Dave Walkers rolling road.

From what I've read (so ignore me if you want) by Dave Walker Zetec and XE can both make the power, but Zetec needs cams and head work to get to
200, where it comes for 'free' with the XE. XE is marginally harder to fit to a seven due to the gearbox and a few (probably insignificant)
kg heavier.
Getting above 200bhp costs real money for both (but getting much above 100bhp/litre NA always costs a lot whatever engine you talk about)
<opinion> At the end of the day 150bhp is plenty to have fun in a 500kg roadcar, 200bhp gives you a supercar baiter, but you need to be a
better driver than most to take advantage safely </opinion>
I am lead to believe 160-170 with TB's and a good exhaust if mapped properly.
Mine feels, and times, much quicker than my 150bhp Pinto.
With the pending headwork and the Piper cams I am hoping to be around 190.
I feel the GSXR750TB's are too big so I don't think you will see much power loss, if any, for 600TB's.
