Can anyone help identify my cam.
Has the following markings on the end:
F96 & 5723
Has the following markings on the shaft:
GC 0916 & K355-C
Thanks,
Trying to work out if my cam belt has slipped a tooth or is meant to be one tooth further on?
Thanks.
Pat

Whats it fit - Pinto? Why not just line up timing marks or are you using a vernier pulley?

Give us more info & we'll try & help.

Hi,
Yep, that would be a good idea wouldn't it.
2ltr Pinto with above mentioned cam.
When cam is aligned TDC (pointer at 6 o'clock), the first notch (the big one) on the crank pulley is about 5mm more clockwise than the mark on the block. Hence trying to determine if the belt has slipped a notch or is meant to be where it is in relation to the cam.
Hope that helps,
Pat...
