Not sure but IIRC that could be the stuff recommended by British trident

Yup that was the stuff recommended by British Trident.

I had a couple of water leaks on the BMW, one from the water pump and one from the radiator. Stuck a can of that in it and it cured the leak from the radiator like magic.

However the leak on the water pump turned out to be through the bearing, rather than the gasket so it didn't work on that!

Have replaced the pump now though.
