Anyone know where the castings Numbers are on these.

The engine number will be stamped on the block, on the passenger side, halfway back from the front of the block, on a little flat bit just underneath and between nos 3 and 5 exhaust ports. mines a bugger to see cos the manifolds obscure it...

The engine number and compression ratio are stamped on the left side of the block in between the centre two spark plugs, near the dipstick. On earlier models the engine number is stamped on horizontal flat surface at the rear of the left-hand cylinder bank
