Has anyone used this method on their backplate?

Looks better that having to cut some weird shapes and then screwing it to the carb?!

did you get yours running on a different carb Paul?

I was at boggs yesterday having my gsxr600 carbs set up, cant recommend Daves work enough, came away with 140 BHP at the wheels with a 2,1 pinto with piper 285 cam.

he does recommend R1s over GSXR though mainly because there so much easier to set up
(took 4hrs on mine)

goes like a rocket, but need to stop it now, without servo it wont,

Just out of interest how much did Boggs charge for the set up?

I assume it was already running in a fashion on the bike carbs to start with.

I thought for 4 hrs work, £80 was bloody cheap, it was running in a fashion,, but was over fueling, so first thing he did was sort pressure out (dodgy ebay pump), its now plumbed to the pinto pump with pressure reg,
he then set about sorting the carbs, top bloke
knows his stuff, i dealt with the dad dave,
i know there at least two other Rhood guys who will be using there services very shortly they came with me and were has suprised as me at the outcome and service i got,

do u know what pressure did he set the regulator to? iv just fitted gsxr 750 carbs to my pinto, and i think it has to much pressure

2psi, mine was actually flooding the carbs with bike pump, much better with pinto. but he preferes electric pumps, just that mine was knackered and the spare they had was spoken for
