I have just ordered an ST pedal box and am hoping to get the new Zetec mated to the standard steel bellhousing and type 9 gearbox.

I was wondering what connects the clutch pedal and the clutch release bearing, is it a cable or hydraulic? Can anyone suggest the parts that i require to allow this?

Previously I had a DIY'd Ford/Toyota bellhousing to connect the 4AGE to the type 9 and used the standard toyota pedal, hydraulics, release arm and bearing (not 100% sure about the bearing, can't quite remember if its Toyota or Ford - doesn't matter anyway).

hopefully someone can answer these questions for me, i'll get to the bottom of it when i receive all the bits and pieces, but just hoping that someone could give me a headstart to save me some time later on.
