Get as much of the shielded wire from the crank position sensor ( I got mine from a H reg fiesta) will take a while to cut it out but well worth the effort same goes for all the wiring from the edis, the edis plug, wiring to the coil pack, I got some hvt leads off an Escort that were perfect for the spark plugs and new coilpack.

have pictures in my gallery if you want to see how I mounted my cvh trigger wheel.

Good hunting! BTW I paid £17 for everything!

Regards

Rich

Take something to kneel on, you're gonna get messy getting that crank sensor out in this weather!

If you can find a 1.8 CVH Sierra!

We were looking in the Leeds area last weekend and there weren't any! we know most of the best scrapyards etc and they either didn't have a single one or were closed sundays (They must be making 2 much money now!).

Good luck, but if you fail to find one you can still buy a similar one from Ford Dealers (Part No 1078767)
Its a little bigger in diameter (I beleive it goes inside the engine block on the Twin cam or possibly on the crank pulley) this was about £15 and available on next day delivery.

Get the Cranks sensor from a Fiesta (Not Zetec ) and its a two min job, But you will need a Torx bit to take it out.

From a Mondeo or the likes it will take ages and its not a nice job.

The trigger wheel on the 1.8 cvh sierra is a big chunk of steel.

Out of interest what engine is it for ?

The pulley is, the trigger wheel can be taken off the back of it and is much nicer than the one i've mentioned above.

i went the easy route.
MJLJ came with plugs and wiring loom.
VR sensor off a zetec - clean to get off.
Edis 4 was built into MJLJ.
Coil pack and leads off here - again didnt get dirty.
trigger wheel off triggerwheels.com - Quality item.

Whole lot was probs less that £140.
