I 've just been installing my new camshaft (kent bcf2) into the crossflow and have timed it - hopefully correctly- (108 degrees at full inlet lift)

Does anybody know the timing figure for an origional 1600gt camshaft. Just out of interest really - no other reason!

A 1600 inlet valve opens 27deg BTDC, closes 65deg ABDC.
So I make the figure 109deg ATDC if I have worked it out correctly.

Thanks for the answer - how do you arrive at it using the inlet/exhaust figures ?

Interested as the old timing marks on the cam sprocket and cranskshaft are pretty close with the new cam - a bit of a sanity check
