as above, took the head off and began the quest for the unleaded engravings on the pinto head. the only thing i found was this mark. however it seems to be a little L instead of a capital L.

so do u think this counts as an unleaded head?

Have a look at the valve guides.
I think unleaded valves are bronze in colour.
