hey
i just bought a set af webers that i going to put on my 1600 pinto engine
now i having a question about the fuelpump that i need.
I Going to buy a facet one
witch one is the best for fueling my webers a interrupter electric pump or solid stated electric pump? What is the difference anyway?
Together with that i tought of using a king fuel regulator.
or is that not necessary if you are using a solidstate one, because the give around 3.5 -4 psi. And thats what webers need for pressure (4 psi).
cheers
melvin
Any of these should be OK.
Pinto mechanical pump
Facett/Bendix Solid State Pump
Burlen-SU Pump (MGB size or Jag)
AC Electric pump from 1980s Rover 216S (pre hatchback 1600cc with SU carb ).

So if i use Facett Solid State Pump
i don't need a pressure regulator? right?
