have you used race fuel. what diffrence did it make.was your car turbo or n/a where did you get it from and how much.
adam
Our 'Race Fuel' is Shell V-power
not sure of its benifits totaly someone will probably set you right on that
of more help i think deamon tweeks sell it tho
Rather than use race fuel which is very expensive, you would be better using an octane booster. Try using a quality fuel like shell optimax ( its called soemthing different now, but you'll know it as it's more expensive than unleaded) and add a booster like silolene pro boost or aldons equilalent. I've used it in race engines where there is a definate improvement, however, it depends on the machine work done on your engin e.g decked block and skimmed head etc to increase compression. Using with a standard engine won't make a noticeable difference.
Unless your engine is specifically mapped to use it, there's no performance advantage to using high octane fuel (even bog standard Super Unleaded / Optimax etc).
dont BP do 102 octane fuel?

You only release the potential of higher octane fuel with a higher compression ratio.
If you have modded your engine and get detonation then go up a couple of RON values.
