Put your fag out?

Does it do the same when you fire it up for the first time?

Id be guessing valve stem oil seals if it does. Even if its not covered many miles they can perish and lose their seal on the valve stem.

Replaced the valve stem oil seals on my old CVH engined fiesta years ago when at Uni and it sorted similar symptoms out immediately.

Not that expensive, came with a whole top end gasket set for around £20 iirc

Oil level too high ! Only fill to 1/2 way between max and min. Could be breather problem if fault still present ? Also worth checking compressions? Valve stem oil seals would show up as heavy smoking after idling for some time.

Mine was smoky when i filled to top mark on dipstick. (Pinto and shortened sump). If i fill between bottom and mid marks its no problem.
