I'm looking to fit 2.0 cams to my 1.8 silver top Zetec. I'm looking to buy second hand and not new.
I've read that the later black top cams can be fitted to the silver top is this correct?
There seems to be plenty of black top cam available on the market but vey few silver top ones.
Any advise greatly received.

I have a pair of silvertop and blacktop 2ltr cams in my garage if you are interested, i tried to send you a U2U but it wouldn't let me for some reason, send me one if you are interested in either.

I was told that the blacktop cams won't fit the silvertop, don't know for sure though as I've not tried, although I do know that the head is different between the 2 so it would make sense if correct.

I know that the silvertop has hydraulic lifters while the blacktop has solid lifters, though I don't know if cams are compatible or not.
