It is looking like I may have to source a new engine.

Now as I have found out before some early Zetec's have different engine mount points on the block to the later Zetec's. Does anybody know which years/models this applies to?

Good question... I think you may find that the smaller capacity engines, 1.4, 1.6 have a different block.

I think (but I may be mistaken) all the 1.8's and 2.0L have the same block, it changed after the intro of the durateq.
