Hi there,
I've just gotten back from one of the last blasts of the season and am thinking about reocating the exhaust exit to the rear f the car. (I find
the car to loud from inside and don't want more silencing, loud pipes save lives and all that ;-) ) Have any of you lot done this? If so, how
have you routed the exhaust? My car is an Indy / Pinto, so has less room under the rear "axle" then a live axled car would have...
Cheers,
Sebastiaan
Iv been thinking about this and the only problem i can see is if there is enough room in the tranny tunnel. Jaguar exhausts exit ofer the rear axle
and out the back so i dont know if this idea could be adopted in a seven
Do what Lotus did and keep the side pipe and run under rear arch and over axle to rear
have a look for bigrich's photo archive & car at shows
He's taken his exhaust down the transmission tunnel and out through the back panel
He does use a freelander diff which is vital to create the space for the exhaust to come through
