Hi i don't have the measurements for you as the engine with the mountings (luego) is in hibernation for the winter but i can tell you that the sides are not the same size.
again dont have tham at hand as away from home but is it a 1.3 or 1.6 i think it makes a difference sorry not to be more help
hi again
its a 1.3 good point
come on people any help???
cheers

I would say that unless you can find a scrap engine to use, then wait until you get yours. The chances of making a set of mounts that fit perfectly, set the engine at the correct height and don't foul anything just from some dimensions is slim IMO.
I would suggest that you make the plates that fit onto the engine (I'm sure someone on here could give you the dimensions) and the plates that
fit to the chassis.
Then all you'll have to do is cut and shape the bit of tubing that goes between the two, once you get the engine sitting on blocks in the
chassis.
Make sure what ever rubber mounts you use are new before making the mounts for the chassis.
I used the ones from the engine, and found I needed to move the ones on the chassis otherwise the engine wouldnt sit down.
