as title as my sump in my locost is bang on leval with the chassis at the mo. but the to solve alot of probs i could do with have 1" chopped off the engine mounts to lower the lot down what do you all think

an inch below the chassis rail sounds fine... many people have it lower than that.

From memory mine's about 30-40mm below the bottom rails.

mine is about 8cm from the road, so i have to look where i'm going

I'm very carefull too, hopefully some winter mods will sort this worrying problem.

MIne is like bobs maybe a bit lower. Iv had to raise my car more than i want to compensate. A shallower sump is the next big purchase.
