Dave Bailey - 16/12/07 at 07:50 PM

Anyone know the name and contact details of the company in the US that can supply the replacement impeller for the phase 3 zetec water pump so that the pump can be run in the opposite direction?

Has anyone bought one and how much?

thanks
Dave Bailey

Quicksilver race engines, tried a search on the web, they don't have a site as such, tried to call them for one, got a messaging service, left msg - no reply yet.
Let me know if you have any luck.
Rgds.
Pete.

if you're having trouble reaching them, you may find that most of the uk engine builders now do an idler pulley arrangement for blacktops.

I know westfield were certainly developing one.

This would mean you can simply run the standard pump.

PS I ran my standard blacktop pump in reverse for a few weeks with no adverse effects.

Weather was warm - mid 20s IIRC.
