We got a type 9 out of a Granada with an electronic speedometer sender fitted, no cable provision on it though.
2.3 Granada has the inductive pickup on a type 9 with the correct bellhousing/input shaft and the bigger grandads also have the pickup but are not a bolt in fit. No reason you can't swop the pickup onto your current type nine box if you have access to the top of the extension through the side of the tunnel. If you consider the mechanical drive to be at 5 o'clock on the extension, the inductive pickup bolts on opposite it at 11 o'clock
