hi
is it possible to take a sierra prop apart. ive seen on ebay the joints can be bought for other prop that use c clips but on the sierra prop its sort of pressed in.

If it doesn't have the circlips then I think you stuck. Some are just not designed to come apart, besides it's a pain in the backside to get all those little rollers to stay in place.

The Sierra propshaft UJ's are sealed units.

Ford never meant for the joints to be replaced.

I think some people have managed to change the UJ's but I have no idea as to where you will find replacement joints.

It would probably be best to fit an after-market Prop if yours is shot.

mines not shot ive got a sierra one on the way.
and ive got a sierra 4x4 front prop in the shed.
i was thinking of spliting them then puting the two parts with the flanges on back together.
