Anyone know what the difference is between a type 9 box for a 2L and type 9 from a 2.8L?

On the 2lt box the depth of the bell housing to gearbox mounting surfaces is 7"IIRC The 2.8 is approx 3/4" longer . The first motion shaft on the 2.8 is longer as well . Ratios are different as well. Also be aware that some diesel boxes at least have the longer shaft and bell housing but a very low first gear
