It started with a head off and valve grind....Now sump off and pistons out!

Cranks and bearings look fine but I replace the shells while they're out...any recommendations about where to get them, or just fit standard Ford ones.

bearings - raceline?

personally unless I was going for big power, I'd have replaced the whole unit. Surely would have been cheaper?

I got mine from Burton's as the Ford garage around here is like pulling teeth.

Standard are around £28

Alu/tin are around £70
