polo & micra rad fan switch thread

i have a polo or micra rad (cant remember which) im trying to sort a plug for the fan switch hole, does anyone know what size it is?

Buy a thermostatic switch and screw it in. They are about 22mm.

i have got a blank but its does leak slightly.

bit of epoxy should seal it but anyone see any problems with this? reacting with block or anything like that?

M22 x 1.5 rings a bell to me

I think some of them seal on a soft copper of fiber washer rather than on the thread itself.

I went to a scrapper and got the proper fan switch. 50p bargain

When I was in GSF (German Swedish French?) I asked about a blanking plug - turned out that a switch was cheaper! Now I have 2 thermo switches, wired in parallel - if either is too hot, the fan comes on.
