It's a Viento IIRC with some tube mods to accomodate that lardy great Dodge motor. An excellent case of I can so I will IMHO
(could have looked after the bare chassis a bit better though)
Oh no. That means i need to put a 6.0 V12 in mine to better that
Il bet that weighs a bit

For some reason he's cut someones feet off and put them where the pedal box should be

Still not much triangulation along the sides there... IMHO

You will need a Jaguar engine from this one to beat that![]()

). Just waiting for an e-mail to confirm the size to make sure it would fit. Now THAT would be
heavier than a pinto
I've seen mention of a Jag V12 in a MG Midget, so I'm sure it could be made to fit somehow.
Though I can only find one with a 6pot with a quick search http://www.coupers-cars.com/sprite_restoration.htm
Chassis' not finished in those pics...

sure it wasn't an MGB? There was a one shoehorned into a black MGB about 20 yrs ago.... and RH put one into their chassis![]()
That is barking (but I like it!).
Must pull like a train in straight line's, but not sure it would be all that clever on a track - that's a hell of a lot of weight in such a
small package.

the v12 RH chassis got built around the engine and box , not sure if you could actually get them out again !! .
the stainless monocoque , was probably quite a lot better than the ally version , but that doesnt say much .

Love to but not very locost. I have seen V12 jag engines tuned to over 600hp with a little help from aj6engineering![]()

Im seriously considering a V12 though (post SVA). Just waiting for an e-mail to confirm the size to make sure it would fit. Now THAT would be heavier than a pinto

AFAIK all Jaguar V12's are aluminium block and head. They still weigh a lot more than a pinto.

Some information about them here

And here's a link to an MGB with one, looks a little fun under there so I'm probably miss-remembering the Midget with one.

Startings of a project to put a Jag v12 into a mini clubman.
