What changes the Ford 2.0 TDCi engine from a 115 BHP to a 130 BHP?

asked the same question to the ford field tech as far as we know its only the map and esp parameters using ford ids you can suck and blow info from 90-115 and 115-136 but cant suck and blow 136-150 st due to engine size give it a go if it doesnt work you can still downgrade it back providing you save the session on the ids

Different maps in the ECU.

Being a supplier to Ford I visit the plant in Genk every month. When you watch the cars coming down the line they have a A3 piece of paper that tells the operators what to put on the car. The code also has the bhp on it. The top of range TDCi Mondeos have 155bhp.

Its the same engine in the Jaguar X type as well. Next time I'm in Jaguar I'll check the bhp.

when you connect the ford ids it asks you if you want to save all the data (maps)to the harddrive as a back up
