have a look at www.zetec-cat.co.uk for engine specs.

Generally 1.8 is about 115 PS and 2.0 about 136 PS, a 1.8 on 2.0 cams about 130 PS, with throttle bodies or bike carbs anything up to 180 PS is quite easily achievable.
Pete.

P.S. I got £30 for my DOHC from a bloke with a cracked head sierra, the most common problem.

2.0 Litre water pump revolves the wrong way, sump is too big as is the flywheel.

To get a 2.0 to work with a type 9 you need all of them bits off a 1.8.

Thats why its easier to just put 2.0 cams in a 1.8 and get about the same bhp.

Another thing, up to 98 the phase 1 & 2 engines, identifyable by alloy cam cover, and water pump directly above the crank, hydraulic valve lifters - easy cam changes - referred to as Silvertop.

Post 98, plastic cam cover, different block, water pump offset to the exhaust side, all water pumps rotate counter clockwise (the wrong way - need an idler or special impeller), two peice sump. Solid shimmed lifters, and I'll tell you what cam changes are like after this weekend when I pick my new ones up and measure the shims etc. - referred to as Blacktop
