I need to find out what cam I have in my pinto as I'm selling it and I might have to update the ebay page if it's not what I've said it is (which I 'm now having doubts about) Obv I want to be as honest as possible etc

Stamped on the end is

Measure lift and timing and compare against manufacturer specs of the cam you thought it was.

^^^ yep. not that hard to do.

I've done this with a rv8 cam. get piece of wood, nail two pairs of nails at 45 degrees to form a V to rest the bearing on - this is good enough stand. Then make a steel bracket for the dial guage and off you go!!

Not perfect but would show the lift and the timing to within a couple of degrees that maybe enough to identify it.

It is a good excerice as you get to see how precise the lobes are ground.
