check the timing, the sparks only useful if there at the right cylinder at the right time!

triple check all electrical connections, and make sure you have a good main earth.also is there a tilt switch?

havnt checked all connections yet but surely if i have a spark i have a spark?also i take it if it had a tilt switch and it was active it would just cut the spark?

Try a new set of plugs.

agree with phil new plugs ive had same sort of trouble

are you using the blade pump ??

Try swapping coil wiring, you may be sending spark to wrong cylinder

not using pump as rrw didnt have one.using pump off cbr 600 i think.bought off ebay and as i say was running absolutly fine with all ancilleries.engine has been standing for about 7 months.would the plugs really go down just like that?only other thing i have done is put new clutch springs in.

beer monster - 24/2/08 at 08:08 PM

is there an easy way of checking the timing?have tried swopping coil wiring every way i can think of but still no joy.

Plugs are very temperamental in the Blade. Stick some new ones in........
