I have just ordered one of these from the States ( EBAY ) and wonder if any one has one and are they happy with it ? Seems very accurate from the spec and you can also download your 0-60's, 1/4 miles etc.
Howmuch did you pay? They seem to work fine for accelerating and G-force readings. Nowadays you have GPS based systems like the Performance Box.
This is a gps system and after checking the spec it is virtually the same as Performance box but a fair bit cheaper at £ 163.95 delivered. It is
dearer than the ss version but at least you can download everything.
Here it is www.gtechpro.com

mate has one for testing is v.fast saab's. he loves it and gets loads from it.
not tried it in the indy yet though, wait for dryer roads
Triaxial accelerometer covering all three axes (x,y and z). Not gps
I've got an old one from the States and must have been using it for the last 10 years! Still works a treat even though it doesn't use GPS or even connect to external devices. Small and simple so perfect for the kit car.
Aico is perfectly right and I am totally wrong. A triaxial acceller thingy it is and would I be correct in saying it takes 4000 readings per second ?
