Hi Guy,

Does anyobe have a PDF of a web address where I can get details on how to rebuild/overhaul my type 9 gearbox.

Thanks in advance.

I'm not guy but I believe you need a special tool for removing and refitting the extension.

Otherwise it should be fairly straightforward if you just work methodically and keep all the bits in order.

If I recall the sierra V6 haynes manual has a procedure.

Cheers

Mark

IIRC you only need normal hand tools ? and a 5mm pin punch for drifting out the selector roll pins is useful .

I have not done it my self - however my source is a time served ford technician who I have known for many years.

Maybe as with a lot of things it's just a lot easier with the appropriate tool

Cheers
