I think I may need to replace the clutch on my Vortx as I am starting to get some screaching under acceleration.

I am led to believe that the one that is fitted is a Sachs Heavy Duty Sierra one. Anyone know where I can get one from if I need to replace it??

Standard trick is to try and get a diesel clutch as they are usually a little larger - although a tin top clutch for a 1.5 ton car in a .5 ton car should be ok i'd have thought.

If not, try burtons

Have you adjusted the clearance ? --- ie given it more free play.

I amazed a clutch would wear out on a seven given the weight of the car.

I wouldn't have though a heavy duty one was needed.
