Right then it looks like im going to have to bite the bullet and get myself an expensive fuel filler as i cant find a cheap one with the unleaded reducer in it so then which ones have you guys got and where did you get them from and last of all how much? Must be SVA ok.

Many thanks.

All you need is a plate with a hole in it for the unleaded reducer. Any cap that comes in 2 pieces can have a plate put in. I had to put a tube on my second hand one, I found the old tube was jus soldered on so I unsoldered it and welded on a new one, could have put in a reducer if I had needed to.

Always wondered - with an old Pinto what happens if you say you use LRP ?

Hi Matt

I used a marine fuel filler and made a reducer for unleaded out of scrap ali sheet.

Cost £15 in total.

Cheers

With an old Pinto you don't need the reducer, it's only required for cars fitted with a cat.
