As per title, just putting the engine bay layout together, the MJLJ will be inside the car at the passenger side bulkhead, ideal place for the EDIS
would be backing onto the MJLJ but in the engine bay. But, it would be well out of any airflow there? so does it need a cooling breeze or will it be
ok?
Cheers.

It doesn't get hot due to its own current consumption - maybe vaguely warm perhaps.
It should be kept away from the hotter parts of the engine bay though - not in range of the radiant heat from the exhaust manifold, for example. Like
any electronic gear, it won't like continuous exposure to heat, although it will have been built to withstand normal engine bay temps.
I agree with David and some EDIS info i found said that under bonnet heat was the main killer of EDIS on the Ford, our cars usually have a much higher underbonnet temp for longer periods whilst running so i mounted mine next to the Megajolt in the passenger foot well high up.
Thanks chaps, inside it is then.
Cheers.
Pete.
